Lawrence is an experimental NFT artist who writes custom smart contracts to push the boundaries of blockchain-based art. He is a Stanford graduate with a B.S. in Product Design and M.S. in Computer Science. After a career as a product manager at Google and Glossier, he ventured to start his own company and started exploring the web3 space. While completing the 0xMacroDAO web3 engineering fellowship in 2022, he felt that there was unrealized potential (and a plethora of shallow projects) in the NFT art space, despite the bull market at the time.
His first collection, JacksonNFT, sold out in less than 7 minutes offering a unique collaborative mechanic, where each mint added a unique brush stroke to existing canvases in the collection, evolving the pieces over time.
Moving forward, Lawrence aims to craft more NFT collections that pose new questions to the NFT community and break ground both in technical innovation and artistic vision.
